Littering and Vandalism is a big issue in Jamaica.
Jamaica has become very polluted over the years .
Vandalism is a growing problem especially in election times with spray painting on walls like JLP and PNP territories and if the government did not allow or condone this it would not be happening, the government dignitaries should be held responsible as well.
This (littering) is a major problem. Not only is it destroying some of our very pristine environments, but they also pose a threat to our infrastructure. Recently, when we had the threat of the hurricane, many of our drains and gullies were blocked and they were blocked by plastic bottles and plastic bags, and other items improperly disposed of.
Littering and Vandalism is a big issue in Jamaica. Have we lost all sense of pride? Do we not care how our country looks?
for those who throw plastic bottles, paper napkins and food wrappers and writing inappropriately on walls? not thinking of the consequences have you ever seen those pictures of thousands of plastic bottles and bags along the shoreline and wonder who would do such a thing? the answer is YOU!
THIS PETITION IS TO PUT A STOP TO THESE ACTIONS OR LIMIT IT SO THESE ARE THE LAWS WE CAN PUT IN PLACE:
To gain discipline anything done wrong should be punishable by caning
Littering should be strongly fined like 300 per litter and bigger items go to the court
Vandalism should be an serious offence and not only fines but jail time
Solutions is to have a cleaner Jamaica and so we would have better air and a better life and live longer and for the discipline having stricter rules and regulations will make a better Jamaica for its people and upcoming generation and this is just a start.
