Petition against the proposed closure of the workshops and the proposed restructuring which will result in the redeployment and redundancies of several staff in the school of Art, Design and Media at the University of Portsmouth.
We the undersigned call on the University of Portsmouth to keep the Small metals, Ceramics and Glass Workshops open and available to all students.
We also call on the University of Portsmouth to keep jobs of the teaching and support staff whose positions are called into question in the proposed restructure of the art school safe.
We ask that no redundancies are made to staff with the art school.
