The blinking light that is currently in place at the Frontage Road and Valley Center intersection is not sufficient to control the increasing traffic.
The high rates of speed in which east/west drivers approach the caution light on the Frontage Road and the limited visibility to drivers turning west onto Frontage Road from Valley Center contribute to the danger of the intersection.
We, the citizens of the Gallatin Valley, petition the Montana Department of Transportation to install a stop light at the intersection of Secondary State Highway 205 (Frontage Road) and East Valley Center spur road.
