A park built yards away from a major road connecting many towns!
1* there is no parking nearby suggesting the park is attracting local children living nearby,
2*situated right on the main road with only pedestrian refuges located 150ft one way and over 200ft the other way;
3*council advise not enough people would cross to warrant having light controlled crossings 24/7;
4*no traffic caming measures on that road (unless you call the sensor 30mph warning slow down sign a traffic calming method) and cars often being able to travel at unsafe speeds;
5*skate park means alot of children are taking bikes to the park making it even more dangerous for crossing the road.

We the undersigned request that a pelican crossing be installed outside this park, or failing that, the park be closed and relocated to a safer place for children to play.
