INDUCT KIM SIMMONDS INTO THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

Savoy Brown, originally known as the Savoy Brown Blues Band, are an English blues rock band formed in Battersea, south west London in 1965. Part of the late 1960s blues rock movement, Savoy Brown primarily achieved success in the United States, but were (and still are) loved and admired by fans worldwide where they continue promote their albums with non-stop touring. Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record. They released their first album "Shake Down" in 1967, which means they have been eligible for induction since 1992. Kim Simmonds and Savoy Browns influence on rock and roll is undeniable, as well as being an original architect of the British blues rock movement in the late 60's. Savoy Brown has remained to this day...a much respected blues-rock act that continues to influence and inspire new generations. In 2015, billed as Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown, their album, The Devil to Pay, reached number four on the US Billboard Top Blues Albums chart. They still got it...and have never lost it. Savoy brown deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
