Pat was one of the original "bad ass" girl rockers, paving the way for the next generation of female rockers! As a musician, producer, arranger & songwriter, Neil Giraldo, along with Pat, have long been revered in the music business.
This Grammy-winning artist & her producer, arranger & songwriting partner made history respectively by being the first female & first guitarist to appear on MTV.
Pat & Neil's enduring partnership in both music & life has spanned three decades & is more than qualified and deserving of induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
We, the undersigned, nominate Pat Benatar & Neil "Spyder" Giraldo for induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
This is a collaboration that has spanned 37 years in the music industry! They have earned their place in rock history & have both contributed so much to forging a path for gender equality for musicians everywhere.
Pat & Neil are a producing, arranging & songwriting duo whose music has played a major role in the acceptance of females in Rock & Roll.
They are both deserving & qualified for induction into the Hall of Fame. It is a long-overdue honor for two artists that changed the face of Rock & Roll and forged a path for female rockers that followed.
