Massapequa School District #23 is one of the largest districts in Nassau County. We at present time only have 5 BOE trustee's to make decisions for the district. We would like to increase the number of seats available to BOE trustee's to 7. This would enable a greater variety of knowledge onto the BOE to further the best interest of our district.
Syosset School Board has 9 trustees and is a much smaller district.
We the people of Massapequa School District #23 who reside in Massapequa and Massapequa Park are requesting to increase the BOE trustee seats from five to seven. This would allow larger discussions with more opinions before decision are made for our district.
