Change can bring uncertainty and fear, yet as we progress though these changes we are confident that the board will secure an outstanding candidate and a stronger, well rounded choir will emerge.
Excellence in Mr. White’s current standards certainly set the bar of technical expertise, yet leaves room for our next director to surpass in the interpersonal and financial aspects.
As the new director assumes the mantle of leadership, realization of the tremendous impact that they bring upon our boys’ lives both emotionally and technically. One area should not be sacrificed for the other.
We, the undersigned, respect the Board’s difficult decision and recognize the multitude of reasons for their actions, knowing that we have had only glimpses of what they have had to face.
Acknowledging their character and stature in the community, we trust their choices were not made in haste and were purely in the best interest of our sons’ and the legacy of the Atlanta Boy Choir.
