The cheapest version of the game costs 60 EUR and 2 awesome camo's cost 20 EUR! Welcome to Black Ops 4 'Microtransactions For The Win!'
Black Ops 4, A brand new fantastic game makes their community furious. In black ops 4 you could have awesome cosmetic items like camos for weapons but the problem with this is that you have to pay for it, a lot. Besides the cheapest version of the game is already 60 EUR.
WELL DONE ACTIVISION, YOU JUST HIT A CRITICAL POINT IN THE COMMUNITY.
At first, The spawns. Now Microtransactions and cosmetic item's that costs a fortune, whats next? You just following fortnite with 20 EUR cosmetics. But the fact that fortnite is free to play and NOT 60 EUR that compares it. Where are those time like black ops III or II where you could get it for 2 EUR or from crates (supply drops (Black Ops III)). The game is great but some choices are wrong for a game of 60 EUR, choices that belongs to free games.
As we watch to fortnite where the prices for cosmetics are the same there are a few points that Black Ops IIII doesn't have:
- Fortnite is free, so they have to make money somewhere,
- If you buy the full game (save the world) you could get in game currency for free
- If you purchase the battle pass you could 'theoretically' have infinite currency
All those point doesn't match Black Ops IIII, It isn't free, It is the full game, We don't get COD points from the contraband or something like that.
I suggest making a new in game currency with which you can buy those cosmetics. And can be earned by playing the game, for example you get +- 1 token per 1000 earned XP and that a cosmetic cost like 20 to 40 tokens. Or creating some crate like a supply crate which contains those cosmetics.
For now this system of "earning" cosmetics just sucks because you don't earns them you have to pay. I hope this wil be improved very soon!
