Currently there is the existence of urban consolidation in Mascot. As a result there has been a significant rise in the population density. This has lead to many inconveniences for the local residents including traffic congestion, overcrowding on public transports and the general lack of public facilities to accommodate for everyone. Therefore this petition is to make the local council focus on this issue and take further actions in addressing this issue.
We, the local residents of Mascot, call on Botany Bay City Council to make improvements in regards to the lack of public services and facilities that has occurred as a result of the rise in population density from urban consolidation.
