The petition of residents of Beaumaris, Bayside and KIngston draws to the attention of the Premier and Minister for Education grave community concerns regarding the imminent removal of established trees on the Beaumaris school site.
We request that the Premier and Minister for Education convene a meeting on the Beaumaris school site on Thursday 20 October 2016 at 5:30 pm with members and representatives of the local community and Education Department representatives to discuss: relevant arborist reports, landscape plans, requirement for tree removal and replanting options for the site and related issues, prior to the chainsaws starting.
