Dear Director-General of UN Geneva,
We would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the case of Iranian blogger and activist Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki.
Mr. Ronaghi-Maleki was arrested, beaten and imprisoned on September 24, 2022.
Mr. Ronaghi-Maleki was tortured, prison guards broke both his legs, and he has serious health problems.
Mr. Ronaghi-Maleki is on a hunger strike and his life is in grave danger.
We ask for strong diplomatic pressure for the immediate release of Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki.
We ask for all the help needed so that Mr. Ronaghi-Maleki can return home and re-embrace his family.
We ask for support and solidarity for the Iranian people, victims of a ferocious wave of arrests and unprecedented violence.
