Egregio Presidente,
Vorremmo cogliere l'occasione per attirare la vostra attenzione sul caso della donna cristiana e pakistana Asia Bibi. La signora Bibi, il 31 ottobre e dopo anni di detenzione nel braccio della morte, è stata finalmente prosciolta dalle accuse di blasfemia. Un'accusa che negli ultimi anni ha costretto questa donna innocente a vivere in una cella isolata e con il rischio di essere condannata e uccisa perché cristiana. Per anni è stata chiesta la sua libertà e alla fine le nostre preghiere sono state esaudite. In questo momento, in Pakistan, la signora Bibi rischia ancora di essere uccisa, anche dopo il rilascio.
Chiediamo asilo politico per la signora Bibi e la sua famiglia.
Chiediamo anche che il Governo italiano faccia pressione sul governo pakistano affinché la signora Bibi possa essere salvata.
