Mae HSBC wedi cyhoeddi eu bwriad i gau canghenau yn Bermo, Tywyn a Blaenau
Ffestiniog erbyn Medi 2016. Bydd hyn yn gadael tref Blaenau Ffestiniog (trydydd tref fwyaf Gwynedd) heb DDIM banc ac yn dilyn penderfyniad NatWest i dynnu eu gwasanaeth o'r trefi yn 2015. Mae'r penderfyniad wedi ei wneud heb unrhyw fath o ymgynghoriad a'r cyhoedd, busnesau a cynrychiolwyr gwleidyddol.

HSBC have announced their intention to close branches in Barmouth, Tywyn and Blaenau Ffestiniog by September 2016. This would leave Blaenau Ffestiniog (Gwynedd County's third largest town) with NO bank and follows NatWest's withdrawal from the towns in 2015. The decision has been taken without any prior consultation with the public, businesses or political representatives.
Rydym ni, sydd wedi arwyddo isod, yn galw ar i fanc HSBC i beidio â chau canghennau Blaenau Ffestiniog, Tywyn a Bermo; cysidro effaith y penderfyniad arfaethedig yma ar gymunedau gwledig a gallu pobl i gael mynediad i wasanaethau; a rhannu'n llawn tystiolaeth am ddefnydd y canghennau wrth ymgynghori gyda chynghorwyr, busnesau a chwsmeriaid gyda'r bwriad o gydweithio cyn dod i benderfyniadau terfynol.
We, the undersigned call on HSBC to immediately cancel plans to close branches in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Tywyn and Barmouth; to consider the impact these proposed closures will have on rural communities and people's ability to access services; and to fully share evidence of branch usage with local councillors, businesses and customers with a view of co-operation before any final decision is taken.
