#City & Town Planning
Target:
South Cumbria District Council
Region:
United Kingdom

In South Cumbria there is a mass of local hard working people who through no fault of there own cannot afford to rent or buy homes as the allocation of local government run homes are taken by unemployed and other groups that are not in full time work.

For various reasons the average working person with an income of often far less than £20,000 per year are discriminated against because they simply want to work for a living.

I would like people to sign to ask local council to build or allocate more housing to young families in dire need of affordable rentals.

These hard working people can actually put revenue back into the local authority rather than the underemployed and the unemployed who may drain the council's resources.
