Rules of Land Variance indicate that a dwelling on a lot in Chicago, specifically for a 24' wide lot should have 2' on one side and 3' on the other side and 25' from the back.....front should be between two neighboring homes....
We would like to stop whatever LLC to not obtain approval for a building variance. The variance will obstruct light from neighboring homes. Additionally, as more lots are developed in the neighborhood, it sets precedent for other builders to obtain the same variance approvals which will significantly impact all existing Bucktown homes.
