Mr. Frank Williamson, appropriately known to the many whose lives he has touched as Coach Tank, has been a pillar to the football program at Washington High School. His community extends beyond Washington High School; however, it is the alumni of the school who, other than his family, love him the most. We are his 'extended' family. We are the men whose lives he has saved and touched on and off the football field.
Tank has coached 17 seasons at Washington High School. During that time he has roamed the Wildcat sidelines for almost 200 Friday nights with a loyalty to the program that only former players can truly describe. Football has been merely the bait; his love for what he does and genuine desire for the success of the athletes is what hooks them and keeps them coming. Coach Tank has had many opportunities to leave the Wildcat family, but has stayed true to his commitment to the program. The Wildcat Family needs to show its loyalty to Coach Tank by giving him the opportunity to be the next Head Coach at Washington High School.
We, the undersigned, call on Washington High School, to hire Coach Frank Williamson as the Head Coach of the Washington High School football team.
Coach Frank Williamson is the epitome of an EDUCATOR, MENTOR, COUNSELOR, FATHER, and FRIEND. Furthermore, due to his outstanding coaching abilities and love for the players he has taught and counseled, and his going beyond that which is required of a coach, Frank Williamson should be hired, as Head Football Coach at Washington High School.
