In the past three years the issue of homelessness has risen by 128% in Bristol. Withing Bristol the bunget for helping the homeless has decreased by £500,000 in the past year and is planned to be cut again within another year. The estimated amount of homeless people isnt accurate as there are many more people living in rough housing or they are 'sofa surfers', however it is estimated that there are over 4,000 or more homeless people living in bristol.
We, the local youth of Bristol, are asking you to sign our petition to increase the amount of funding being given by our local council to help the homeless, with food and housing. Once our petition reaches over 250 signitures we will contact our local mp to support our cause and try and gain an increase in funding for the homeless living in Bristol.
