The Queensland Cricketers' Club has served as the cornerstone of Queensland's sporting, cultural and business life for more than 67 years. We seek recognition of an earned legacy and the opportunity to continue delivering lasting value to Queenslanders for generations to come.
The Queensland Cricketers' Club is one of the few remaining Queensland institutions where multiple generations of families can genuinely feel ownership, belonging and pride. A tenancy allocation that appropriately reflects the Club's history, contribution and proven operational capability should be considered, not as a concession, but as a strategic investment in the future success and community activation of the new stadium.
We, the undersigned, petition that the House allocate permanent residency for the Queensland Cricketers' Club at the new Victoria Park stadium, thereby ensuring Queensland's new home of Cricket and AFL will accommodate for the Queensland Cricketers' Club.
