Dedicated to my Nan. We need to try to help change the law by making nursing/care home's free to all the elderly.
Why should elderly people have to sell there property to be cared & looked after when all other older people without property get the same exact care for free.. All elderly people should be treated the same why should elderly people with property who have worked hard & paid for with there own hardworking money should be treated in this way especially this day & age it should be equal rights..
My nan sold her property to pay for self funding in her care/nursing home. Her money has now been used for her care and no authority will help pay for her nursing.. My nan is now under threat of eviction but with no property were is she supposed to go ? SURELY THIS LAW NEED'S TO BE CHANGED !!
By human rights act 1998 something should be done to help all these defenceless elderly citizen's who are in the same situation... Your family member's or yourself might be or could end up in the same situation.
We are trying to collect as many signatures as possible to send to the government so they can change the law so each one of us have equal rights to have the care & safe guard we all deserve.
This petition is to save my nan from being evicted & having no where to live at the age of 91 who's in the same situation.
