While the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is saying that all our citizens are equal then why not the specially/ physically challenged people? moreover why there companies have mentioning their own
rules/policies here when it comes to their safety? My wife is Orthopedicaly handicapped by left limb and she is 60% handicapped. I have applied for a health insurance for both of us and got rejected saying we do not entertain permanent medical issues. Its not just about my wife, it's about all those people who are disabled in our country. My wife is 60% disabled and yet could walk, talk, she works too, she is a teacher. Its not just about her, its about all those who are challenged someway or the other. I just want you to understand, are people like my wife not allowed for a health insurance? Why is that? Can something mishap not happen to her health? Can people like her who are disabled are not allowed to fall sick? Oh just because she is challenged? Can there be no medical emergencies in ber life? Can she not have any disease like normal people on earth? Give me the answer to why you have designed your policies in such a way that says a person who is permanently challenged cannot avail any health insurance benefits in his/life, because a person like this don't even exist for insurance companies like we have in India.

I want an answer stating why this crappy law has been made who is discriminating people basis on their body shapes and sizes. My request to the IRDAI would be very simple that anyone who is a citizen of India should be honoured and should be allowed to avail the health benefits if something mishap happens. And henceforth they should be allowed to take health insurance policies. Plus insurnace conpanies should take off their permanent disability thing off their procedures/ policies.
