Save the Band

Our school administration of Griffith Public Schools has decided to cut out band class from the elementary schools to save money.

As a result from that, the middle school teacher will have to teach all incoming students in the band how to play an instrument.

Now the administration is considering to cut out the middle school band to also save money. If the middle school band is cut out, then that means the high school band members will drop eminently.

There is also no reason for middle school band to be dropped because they receive gold ratings at ISSMA the last couple of years.
