As of today 08 May 2015 there are a total of 1159 Gulf of Mexico Charter/Headboat for reef fish permits and 1172 for Pelagic fish.
These numbers are for all of the Gulf of Mexico states (Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas), they have been decreasing every year.
We petition to issue New Gulf of Mexico Charter/Headboat Reef Fish and Pelagic Fish permits to Disabled Veterans for the standard permit fee.
The permit is to be non-transferable so that it can not be sold for a profit.
Also there shall be a limit for the amount of permits that are issued each year.
There shall be a limit to the amount of permits owned by a disabled veteran of 1 per.
