I want to start a petition in honor of my son Devin, who has been in remission from children's cancer for Five Years- YAY! The downtown Indianapolis Canal is dyed pink for Breast Cancer awareness in October, green for St. Patrick's day, and other. I believe the canal should be dyed gold for children's cancer Awarness in September.
A lot of research goes for other cancer awareness, which is wonderful..........but not enough for the children who deserve and need our help!!! I believe this would be a neat way to raise awareness. The ultimate goal for my family and I, is to see research for children's cancer, in that the medication they receive will not harm them at all.
CURE CHILDREN's CANCER!
We, the undersigned, call upon the Mayor of the city of Indianapolis, to dye the Downtown Canal GOLD, in the month of September- to raise awareness for Children's Cancer.
The children and families that have been affected by this terrible disease need and deserve our help! I honor of Devin- a local survivor for five years- YAY!
