United States of America

Route 619 in Warren County is a dangerous, two-lane mountain road. It winds its way from the intersection of Route 340, past the airport, and terminates in the George Washington National Forest. Speed signage along the road is inconsistent
and ranges from 30-50 miles per hour. Cars descending the steep hill crossing Caitlin Mountain Road and onto Wilson Bridge whiz by until they come to an abrupt stop at Route 340. Along this road are homes with children and senior citizens. With no streetlights, Route 619 is particularly dangerous at night.

Go Slow on Route 619!
We, the undersigned, ask the Warren County Board of Supervisors to work with the Virginia Department of Transportation to make the speed signage along Route 619 consistent and lower than 50 miles per hour.
