WE must abolish , forever, the demeaning Social Services System that works against most clients and grant the poor and disadvantaged citizens a G.I.A. starting at $18,000 for an individual + 30 % top up for those deemed Disabled ( either physically or psychologically ) and a Living Allowance to our Children ( from birth to Grade 12/13 ) of $3600 per year.
All medication costs above $150 per month would be covered by Gov't - Provincial & Federal 50:50.
We, the undersigned, hereby call on the Federal Government of Canada to pass Legislation which would grant all of those who are on Social Assistance and Canada Pension a Guaranteed Annual Income starting at $18,000 for an individual + 30 % Top Up if either physically or mentally Disabled. And, a minimum of $3600 per dependent child. In addition, The recipient pays up to $150 per month for medications and above $150 - that amt. paid by Gov't.
