Our beloved coach, Kyler Marcelino, has not been given a fair chance to fight for Head Coach of the Swim team, a position he has held for the past 5 years. Coach Marcelino has fostered the talent of not only CoS Aquatics, but also countless youth swimmers for the past 15 years. Being a founding member of the Visalia Swim Club, his passion fueled the competition that Visalia Aquatics has to this day. Each year he has been head coach, Kyler Marcelino has brought home a conference victory. Last year, for the first time in College of the Sequoias history, Coach Marcelino brought home the Men's Bay Valley Conference Title and the Women's Bay Valley Conference Title for CoS Aquatics. Even with all these achievements, our coach is not even being considered for an interview. Give our coach a fighting chance.
We, the undersigned, call Stan Carrizosa, President of the College of the Sequoias, to reconsider the board's decision to not interview Coach Kyler Marcelino, a very suitable candidate for the position of Head Coach here at the College of the Sequoias.
