Kim Chaewon - main vocalist of DSP Media's girl group April (에이프릴) - has always shown us great vocal performances and cute concepts. But there's so much more to her! With (not only) her YouTube covers via her channel "HoneyChaen" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClXM265EpTClo4xRH5otxVg), she has shown her versatility, unique vocal color and charismatic performances. She has proven herself as one of the industry's most talented yet underrated idols and - as much as I love April as a group - I really feel like she deserves to shine on her own through a solo debut!
With this petition, we want FineApples (April's fandom), K-pop lovers and music fans all over the world to discover Kim Chaewon as an artist with "the full package" and request DSP Media to give her a well deserved solo debut with her own (mini) album.
Our first goal is to reach 2.000 undersigned. We will gladly collect ideas and suggestions for a possible concept, look into a possible crowdfunding campaign to show DSP Media that we really want this project to happen and are willing to connect with suitable songwriters to give Chaewon the best chances to share her talent with the world.
