We need Karate or Tae Kwon Do in Special Olympics! Karate and Tae Kwon Do are good exercise for children and adults with disabilities, and it can be done in a group setting or an individual setting.

It improves their balance, coordination, strength, balance, and confidence. Karate and Tae Kwon Do has the same risks as horseback riding and any other sports, but people wear sparring gear (headgear, sparring gloves, shin pads, sparring boots, and a mouth piece) when sparring.

Karate and Tae Kwon Do can be done anytime, and it is good for learning self-defense. It is real fun for anyone to do!

Karate and Tae Kwon Do shouldn't be prohibited sports in the Special Olympics. Karate and Tae Kwon Do helps special needs adults and children learn self-control, discipline, self-defense, and focus. Karate provides them with good exercise.

All sports have some risks like horseback riding. Horseback riding is just as dangerous as Karate and Tae Kwon Do, but it is not a prohibited sport in the Special Olympics.

Karate and Tae Kwon Do have sparring gear to make it safer while sparring. People who can't spar can just do forms or weapons forms. Karate can be done all seasons everywhere in the Special Olympics.
