Georgia College & State University has made a tradition of holding graduation on the beautiful Front Campus, a place where all students have memories. Due to a possibility of "inclement weather" Georgia College has decided to move graduation off of Front Campus and into the Centennial Center--a venue too small to host all graduates.

Therefore, they have decided to divide the Colleges into two ceremonies at various times. This places a major burden on all graduates, friends, and families by having to choose which ceremony to attend and hinders the ability to celebrate everyone's graduation. Attendees have to rearrange celebratory plans to cater to Georgia College's decision to transfer and divide graduation.

This is a moment to celebrate the Seniors of Georgia College, all of which want graduation back on Front Campus together as a whole.

Every Georgia College Senior dreams about walking across the stage on our beautiful Front Campus to celebrate graduation and our accomplishments that led us here. It is upsetting to hear that Georgia College has divided graduation by College and has moved it to Centennial Center. This places a major burden on friends and families having to decide which ceremony to attend and rearrange plans when this moment should be happy and shared by all.
