Studies have found that schizophrenics have much better chances of recovery when they are allowed to live in regular neighborhoods during the recovery process.
We at the Mental Health Society hope to make this more a reality, by providing access to these services to those schizophrenics living in Orleans.
We, the undersigned, call on the city of Ottawa to place 5 schizophrenia halfway houses in Orleans.
