Uckfield, East Sussex currently does not have a FULL SIZED, ALL WEATHER ASTROTURF PITCH.
This petition is to gather as many people and bring the support of those who would use such a pitch.
Sign up to show your support for the idea of having an Astro Turf built in Uckfield, East Sussex.
Please show your support just so we can start off by demonstrating to the local councils how many people want this to happen, 100's won't do, we need 1000's to stand a chance, so please invite absolutely everyone you know in and around Uckfield.
To illustrate how many of you this could affect, here is a list of sports that can be played on Astro Turf (for recreational and competitive purposes)...

And with an Astro Turf we would push to have full flood-lighting as well, offering the opportunity to play/practice any and all of the above sports day and night...

Action for ALL WEATHER ASTRO TURF SPORTS PITCH to be build in Uckfield, East Sussex.
Sports and leisure centres are an important community facility, allowing social interaction, exercise and activities that may not be available, or affordable, elsewhere. Uckfield is still the only town locally without Astro Turf facilities for all ages of its population.
A few local towns with Astro Turf:
Heathfield, Crowborough, Lewes, East Grinstead, Hailsham, Burgess Hill.
The people of Uckfield and its sporting organisations deserve a purpose built ALL WEATHER ASTRO TURF SPORTS PITCH.
Let’s make this a reality and not just a dream.
