Please help me help a VERY GOOD MAN, a man who epitomizes everything DECENT AND GOOD. A man, a non-violent "offender" is losing everything as we speak - his car, his job, his family and his HOME. Why? For doing what others in this state, CT, are doing LEGALLY; that is growing a few cannabis plants for personal use. This man is a GOOD MAN. A peaceful man.
A Man who (literally) gives the shirt off his back to an elderly woman in the cold without her knowing who even did it - and he would do more always for everyone. He is a political prisoner in this ELECTION SEASON and is looking at spending his 30's in PRISON for something that has hurt no one, corrupted no one (no "sales" were taking place), and has been a good friend to people of all ages, including our mutual friend who is nearing 70 years old.
PLEASE HELP TRAVIS! He has no help, so LET US be the voice that helps him - and the voice that CHANGES THE PROHIBITION LAWS making cannabis "illegal" - as illegal as COCAINE AND HEROIN! This is wrong, and as the people are growing ever more tolerant of cannabis, as our past 3 Presidents have been known to smoke cannabis, we are about to lock up a GOOD and HARD WORKING MAN for the Governor to say he is "fighting the drug war" while he is currently RUNNING FOR OFFICE AT THIS VERY MOMENT! EVERYONE WHO LOVES FREEDOM AND STANDS UP FOR EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW AND AGAINST INJUSTICE NEED TO HELP FREE A GOOD AND DECENT MAN - PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD FAST BEFORE THIS GOOD MAN LOSES EVERYTHING!
While VIOLENT offenders such as rapists and those who have committed assault with a deadly weapon (and some who KILLED) are serving no time at all in so many cases, DO NOT allow a GOOD MAN, a PEACEFUL AND TRULY non-violent Man get stuck rotting in prison for 10 years. He is a GOOD MAN. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP.
We, the undersigned, are committed to FREEING Travis Adams and seeing all of the charges brought against him DROPPED. We understand that he is a good man with no criminal record and is a non-violent offender.
If need be, we understand that laws may need to be changed, but our number one mission is to FREE TRAVIS ADAMS, a man that is the epitome of all things GOOD, Empathetic, Hard Working and LOVED by the community.
We want Travis PARDONED and all charges against him DROPPED.
