Around March of 2007 the easement at the end of Griego Hill Road in Tesuque which leads into the Santa Fe National Forest, was blocked off.
This easement has been used by generations to gain access to the forest by hikers, runners, equestrians, mountain bikers, and casual strollers alike. The forest belongs to the people, and the easement hat has been there for decades needs to be rightfully opened back up.
We are only asking for a path a few feet wide to accommodate people, horses, and non-motorized vehicles from dawn to dusk.
