Teams and drivers will score double points at next year’s final Formula 1 Grand Prix. The move is just one of several regulation changes announced by Formula One racing’s governing body, the FIA, on Monday 12.09.2013.
The FIA claims: This in order to maximise focus on the championship until the end of the campaign. This will however be a very unfair rule for both the drivers and teams as it could disrupt their progress from the rest of the season.
We, the undersigned, call on the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile to eliminate the coming Formula 1 2014 rule that will grant teams and drivers double points at next year’s final Formula 1 Grand Prix.
