Thousands of domestic animals get terrified by the extremely loud display type fireworks which are on sale to the general public.

In the past few years, it' not just bonfire night which the animals have to endure, it's a fortnight around late October to middle of November and then around christmas new year.

Also, ex servicemen with ptsd are also affected by these loud explosions. Fireworks on sale to the general public should be limited to the "garden fireworks" which cannot be heard indoors and the explosive display types banned.

Organised display fireworks should have a maximum decibel explosion ruling.

We the undersigned call on the British government to ban the sale of loud display type fireworks to the general public.

Loud fireworks cause extreme distress to many thousands of domestic animals for longer and longer periods each year, not to mention ex servicemen suffering from ptsd.

As a nation of animal lovers we should only be setting off fireworks which are spectacular to look at,but cannot be heard indoors.
