After what looks to be another extended lockout it's apparent that the NHL does not operate in the interest of the people that support them and fill their pockets with money.
The greed that is evident in the NHL displayed by the owners is causing the fans to miss the game that they love. The owners sign contracts worth millions of dollars that they never intend on paying because they want salaries rolled back in some form for a new CBA.
Start over with a new league and a framework that lasts longer than 7 years that requires an owner to honour a legal contract and not renege on the terms that were agreed.
We, the fans, call on the NHL to fold its operations so a new league can be formed.
