Fixing the road surface of Time and Patience Community

The Time and Patience District located in the farming and developing community of Time and Patience, Linstead, St. Catherine in the political division of Treadways and in the Constituency of North-West St. Catherine. The sitting Member of Parliament for over twenty-five years is Honourable Robert Pickersgill and the sitting Councillor- Mr. Sydney Rose. T

his community has been suffering from a proper road surface since twelve years back when it was inferiorly fixed. The residents have been the ones who have tried to patch where they can ever since. The road service has reached a level where it is almost impossible to travel on.

With more than three-thousand residents, a high performing primary school, multiple churches, four basic schools and many more important services. The roads have caused a damper on this community.

The roads have caused:

• Residents to have nightmares travelling on the roads
• Taxi operators to suffer from constant purchasing of parts to upkeep their vehicles
• The transportation of ill residents to the Linstead hospital to be a very hard task
• Policing in the area is harder than it should be because the time police take to reach a seen can lessen the opportunity of stopping incidence.
• The residents who drive on the road is suffering from the rattles, shakes and wear and tear on their vehicles.
• The overall travel on the road is a horrible feeling.
• The community and businesses in the area are affected due to the refusal of potential investors to travel on this road.
• The high risk posed to residents and visitors of gunmen or unscrupulous predators to rob them due to the snail pace you have to travel on the so called roads surface.
