Fix Credit Card Interchange Rates

Credit Card Fees:
I currently read online in a article that many small bsuiness are surcharging or not accepting credit card due to the Interchange rate (1-3%).

I being a manager or a Gasoline station/Foodmart know directly how much that does cost and how it directly affects our profits.

Here is a small example: $2.50 a gallon 20 gallon tank = $50 at a 2% interchange rate that is $1 dollar going directly to Credit Card Processing, now gas being $4.50 the same fill up is costing $1.80 but our profit normally .10 a gallon is still $2.00 so our profit drops form $1 to $.20 or a 80% decrease.
