The First of May was produced and directed by Paul Sirmons. This film was brought out back in 1998 and has an incredible cast from Mickey Rooney to Joe DiMaggio. It has won many awards and appeared at a number of festivals. It played on HBO for a time as well.
This movie never found a distributor willing to release it to DVD or Video, so we would like for HBO to re air this movie so that people who haven't seen it will be able to and share the same love for it that others have as well.
