The School District of New Berlin has failed their students and parents in so many ways. Cheap bail outs for the superintendents children, boosting standardized test scores, using a 1-4 grading system to increase and average GPAs, and countless other things. Their slogan “expect excellence” couldn’t be further from the truth, some kids even saying “expect disappointment” in it’s place. There have been countless decisions by the school board and superintendent that have not been made in the favor or well-being of students, but rather to further their own agenda and image. For the past 6 years, this school district has done nothing but disappoint those living in it. Cancelling graduation was just a final nail in the coffin, with no response or action from any person of authority in order to get some answers.
