No visual sign of police searches in recent weeks. Please look at the the CCTV image of Alan on this page and contact us if you saw this person anytime after midnight on Christmas eve 2009. Please feel free to view the video too and sign the petition further down the page.....many thanks! x
This petition is not a complaint against Derbyshire police, but as a group, we feel they could do more to search the Chesterfield Canal and River Rother, so that we can eliminate these two areas and look at other search options.
We would like more in-depth searches of the canal and river bed and this needs really to be done with fully kitted underwater divers to search the whole route. Because people have been out looking most days, we haven't seen any police in recent weeks and this makes us a little concerned and Alan's family would welcome any updates on what searches they are doing locally and when. Like I said, this isn't a dig at the police and we just want Alan found.
