Victoria is the only state in Australia that prevents international students from accessing student public transport concession entitlements.
Not giving student concession to international students is
1) discriminatory,
2) un-Australian,
3) against the spirit of a fair go
International students in Victoria deserve to be treated as equitably as domestic students.
The Proud To Be International Students (PTBIS) organization and WINGS Foundation are currently running a Fair’s Fare campaign to tackle this issue.
