The community garden, located in Lake Timber, only has 20 spots for the entire town. The plan, per the Babcock Ranch website was to have a community garden the size of a football field. At the last board meeting the board responded there are no plans to expand the community garden.
Many residents want this option and the plan is to provide a petition to the board letting them know of the desire of the town residents to expand the garden.
Request to expand the community garden to the original stated size of a football field and or add additional gardens to allow more than just 20 spots for gardening.
