On July 1, 2012 Oc Transpo announced an age cap to the Student Buss Passes, they have change the eligibility, changing it from full- time students to students 19 and under ONLY.
This means that all full time students over 19 will have to buy an adult buss pass instead of a Student Bus pass costing them an extra 20 dollars a month for a total of 240 dollars extra a year.
We, the undersigned, call on the City of Ottawa and Oc Transpo to reinstate student bus passes for full time students age 20 and older and eliminate the age cap.
