Dumpster trash is causing toxins in the air circulating into our homes and in and out of our lungs/bodies.

Trash should be picked up twice a day. Once at noon and again at midnight. The trash collectors can just ride through all their stops and just check to see if the trash is past half way filled. If you can't see the trash from out of the driver's window they can just pass on by. But if the trash is viewable and hanging out of the dumpster then it should be dump. And not only dumped, leaving old garbage in the dumpster for the rats and coons to eat. A bucket of hot water with maybe a little soap or bleach should be thrown in there as well. Too prevent anything from crawling in and out of the trash and into places they don't belong.

This may seem like too big of a gesture, but it is necessary... it will prevent creatures from crawling around the homes, poison lurking into open windows while cooking, fewer sicknesses, other unknown and unnecessary trips to the doctor/hospital, toxic fumes that we inhale while we sleep at night, and a most important a better environment/community.

As far as collection employees who dump trash and may not want to participate because pay isn't enough. Maybe change the pay method to quotas in some type of way. $1, $5, $10..... for every dumpster that is dump around the city.

We, the undersigned, ask the City of Columbus to eliminate unnecessary garbage build up and increase garbage collections.
