Mr Clarence White,recently ranked # 51 on Rolling Stone Magazine's top 100 Guitarists, has been overlooked as a member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Clarence White mastered 3 musical Genres, Bluegrass, Electric Country,and Rock & Roll.
In addition he was one of the longest members of the Byrds. He along with bandmate Gene Parsons invented the B bender,which is now used among todays country artists,including Brad Paisley. In closing, it has been reported by many sources, that Jimi Hendrix himself rated Clarence as one of his favorite guitarists.
We the undersigned call on the electoral board of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame to place the name of Mr. Clarence White for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
