Blacky the dog lived in a inner city yard. He had some shelter on a porch and room to move. There was no grass and just dirt. His water and fresh food came from people who may have noticed him.
When I meet him his sores on his ears were open and flyblown. No one was living at the house, that we could see. For 6 years authorities had received concerns about his neglect and nothing was done.
He is now in the Lost Dogs Home and in 8 days those authorities are going to return him to the same home. There are people who want to care and look after him. But we need your help.
By signing this petition we can stop him from returning to neglect and most importantly an uncertain future.
We the undersigned ask the authorities not to return Blacky to his prior conditions. That he goes to a home where he is loved, feed everyday and has medical treatment when he needs it.
He should be exercised and played with regularly.
