Don't Move Our Daycare

My name is Piper Smith and as a concerned parent, I have started this petition because I do not believe our daycare should be moved, especially to a high school!  Why should children be institutionalized to one building their ENTIRE childhood? The learn laugh and play centre is perfectly suited for children from 0-5. In this facility there is a toddler room, a pre-school room and an after school program room, that acts as a dining room for the pre-schoolers at breakfast and lunch time, the daycare also has a fenced in play yard with tons of toys and amazing play structures. Why fix what isn' broken? Aren't you concerned about the negative influences our young children could be exposed to if moved to a highschool? For the government to have a reason such as "children having a seamless day" ,Do you know how excited the pre-schoolers get when the staff talks to them about going to "Big School"?   Learn laugh and play is home away from home for our children during weekdays and they are comfortable and relaxed in the welcoming enviroment. From bright coloured walls and fun decorations to the Itty bitty toilets they have to fit the childrens needs, this facility is dedicated to our children! Our community may be small but our voices aren't! Why compare our small daycare to daycares in big cities?   What will happen to the amazing staff? What about the building that is so suited for our children? Don't you think we could find a better and more meaningfull way to utilize tax payers dollars?
