This petition is in support of development of the Newport Skate Park, a public skatepark in Newport, Kentucky.
Skateparks in other cities have resulted in decreased petty crimes and private property damage as well as increased social networking and health.
Additionally, skateparks enhance the unique urban appeal of communities such as Newport.
We, the undersigned, call upon the City of Newport and the Commonwealth of Kentucky to promote and develop a public skatepark in downtown Newport, Kentucky.
We want The Newport Skate Park.
